Protect your privacy with these 5 apps

Facebook is not the only taking information about your privacy, so does many other apps and pages as well. But with this five tools, you will be able to protect your private personal data.

Mozilla’s Facebook Container:

This tool will keep the social network in its own sealed-off tab so you can enjoy freely liking friends statues, different page etc without getting tracking on everything you do online.  It will not stop Facebook obtaining certain user data while you are on Facebook, but it does make it tougher for the company to check out which other websites you visit and create targeted ads accordingly while you were on facebook.

Ghostery:

Ghostery is an open-source privacy and ad-blocking tool for both desktop and mobile web browsers that are used by around 7 million users. It works by blocking third-party JavaScript “tags” and “trackers” from watching you while you browse through online. You can also see a list of the trackers and you can approve or block with a thumbs up or thumbs down. So you will simply have a better control of those trackers.

Brave:

Is an ultra-fast ad and the tracker-blocking web browser that is built on the same Chromium browser as Google’s Chrome, but cuts out the tracking cookies which let advertisers pursue you around the web. And this tool will make it look like a randomized server to make you super hard to track.

Cleaner:

Is a software which will remove unnecessary and redundant files from your PC or Mac. While that includes things like invalid extensions, unused files and basically anything else which can de-clog your computer, it also banishes temporary internet files, downloads history and tracking cookies.

uMatrix:

Is a browser extension tracker blocker, but designed for more experienced users.  uMatrix seems very complex to use but once you are getting used to this tool you will be able to control your privacy and you will hopefully feel like you belong a part of the “Matrix.” UMatrix is available for Chrome and Firefox, uMatrix gives you a complex control and you can choose to blacklist or whitelist different sites, different scripts, cookies, images and more.
