The world’s first 3D robotic billboard in Times Square

Coca-Cola has always been the front face for advertising innovation. At the year 1920, they installed their first advertising billboard in New York’s Times Square and created one of the first-ever neon billboards. Now, the company has once again taken the lead by installing a spectacular 3D robotic sign in the iconic New York location Times Square. It is the first and largest 3D robotic sign and it is inspired by the sign’s moving LED modules,  and it is first-of-its-kind motion technology for a billboard.

According to the Coca-Cola’s website, the six-story-high digital sign contains 1,760 independently moving LED screens,  creating a multisensory experience for the 300,000 people who pass through the busy Manhattan intersection each day.
